As part of the activities marking the 2021 International Day of Cooperatives, the Department of Cooperative Economics & Management, School of Management Studies, Kano State Polytechnic in Collaboration with Institute of Cooperative Professionals of Nigeria (ICOPRON), Kano State Chapter organized it’s 1st National Cooperative Conference with the global Theme: REBUILD BETTER TOGETHER today, 1st July, 2021 at the Prof. Hafizu Abubakar Demonstration Restaurant, School of Technology. Kano State Polytechnic.

In attendance were many dignitaries invited from the Institution which includes the Rector, Deputy Rector, and others Directors of the Units, some HODs, all staffs and Students of the Department of Cooperative Economics and Management.

Invitees from outside the school are; the Kano State Commissioner for Higher Education, the Royal Father at the event, Emir of Ringin Emirate from Jigawa State, we have the team from the Kano State Cooperative Federation, and Representative of the Kano State Commissioner for Local Government and Community Service, the Kano State. Director Cooperative Services from the Ministry of Commerce and Cooperative Kano. Also in attendance are members of the Press. ICOPRON members,, Executives and Members of different Co-op Societies from within and outside the Kano City were all on ground to make the event a memorable one.
