Frances is a seasoned and experienced professional banker with well over 25years in investment banking and commercial banking. She started her banking career with CentrePoint Investments Limited and later worked in CentrePoint Merchant Limited before the bank became a universal bank in 2000. In CentrePoint Bank she rose from an officer to Deputy General Manager, working in virtually all the departments of the Bank. She later worked in Unity Bank as the Prime “A” Manager where she managed assets worth over N30billion.
Frances holds B. Sc (Hons) degree in Business Education from University of Nigeria Nsukka, M. Sc. Degree in Finance from University of Calabar, MBA Marketing from Enugu State University of Science and Technology and M. Sc. Public Policy (in Social Policy Design and Financing) from the University of Maastricht Netherlands.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Fellow and Council Member of the Association Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers of Nigeria (fiapm), Fellow Microfinance Association of the UK, Certified Microfinance Practitioner of the CIBN (MCIB) Fellow Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals, Member of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (MCIPMN) and Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM); Member of the Alliance for Non-Profit Management USA; Member Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management, USA; Member and Executive Official of the National Association of Microfinance Banks of Nigeria. She is also a member of the Bank Customers Association of Nigeria. In addition, Frances has attended numerous training programmes, Courses, Workshops/Seminars both locally and overseas.
She is an astute trainer who organizes training programmes and coaches students for their professional examination. She is a great facilitator and motivational speaker with good presentation skills. A qualified Personal Financial Planner and frontline leader with admirable qualities and managerial skills, she enjoys working on challenging and specialized projects. She is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Future Growth Microfinance Bank Limited where overseas the day-to-day operations of the Bank. She was the Chairperson of the National Association of Microfinance Banks FCT Chapter and was the Treasurer of the National Association of Microfinance Banks. Frances also manages Softline Co-operative Society (S-COOPS). She is the founder of Women Empowerment, Self-Help and Social Development Initiative (wewomen); as well as Women Alliance Co-operative Society as well as Greenwoods Cooperative Limited (Urban Farmers)
Frances is a member and the Past President of the Rotary Club of Asokoro, a Paul Harris Fellow and Benefactor of Rotary International; member Full Gospel Businessmen’s International Fellowship and Sustainable Development Goal Ambassador – (SDG Ambassador)
She is blessed with three children, six grand babies and spends her leisure time reading, writing, teaching, mentoring and listening to good music. She occasionally plays Badminton and Lawn Tennis.
