In the CRASoN Panel of Assessors, we have the National and State Assessors who have different roles to play to ensure equity, fairness and openness in all entry documents and check out all project submitted and confirmed all documents were genuine entry and that things are on ground as submitted to the CRASoN Academy before the adjudications and final decision reached to declare winners.

The CRASoN Panel of Assessors are specifically responsible for:

  • Ensuring that common standards of assessment are applied to Award applicants and to the feedback that they receive, this is an overlapping responsibility with the College Jurors.
  • Reviewing Entry Nominations and feedback reports from all site-visited by CRASoN State & LGA Assessors,
  • Reviewing Entry Nominations Criteria Assessments and deciding which Nominee (s) deserves to be among the Top Ten (10) of each category to be submitted to the College Jurors.
  • To ensure equity, fairness and openness in all entry documents and check out all project submitted and confirmed all documents were genuine entry and that things are on ground as submitted to the CRASoN,
  • Mediating on any issues which, in the view of the Coop Awards Office, require independent arbitration in cooperation with the College Jurors,
  • Exceptionally, carrying out further site visits if the information received from State assessors is insufficient to decide whether an Award recommendation should be made
  • Contributing to the CRASoN Projects and Programs review and evaluating processes at the end of the Award cycle

♦ National Assessors

These are the National Assessor to verify all data from each state submitted by the State Assessor before submitting same to the College of Jurors for final vetting and decision to award accordingly.

 

♦ State Assessors

These consist of 37 assessors from each state of the federation including FCT-Abuja who collates data of Co-operatives in each state to verify what is on ground with the help of CRASoN State Volunteer Corps/Coders

 

 ♦ Volunteer Corps/Coders

Each State of the nation will have a team of volunteering assessors in each Local Government Areas (LGA’s) known as the CRASoN Volunteer Corps/Coders working with the CRASoN State Assessor to help us collate data and information of each co-operative society in each LGA’s they are in, that are participating in the state.

They are to help filled the entry form and documents into Project CoopCOUNT and CoopAWARDS where the participating cooperatives are not IT savvy or internet connected.
