Basheer Garba Umar hails From Birnin Kudu L.G.A. of Jigawa State, He is an Economics Lecturer at the Federal University, Wukari in Taraba State and doubles as a part time Business News Caster at Liberty TV and Radio Abuja.

Mr. Umar has deep Passion for Financial Journalism, Cooperative and Entrepreneurship Development.

He Studied HND. Cooperative Economics & Management and BSc. Economics at both Kaduna Polytechnic and University of Abuja respectively. For his believe in personal development, he has attended several management courses and conferences here in Nigeria and Abroad.

He is a self motivated individual who is able to multitask and produce high standards of work. An excellent team player with ability to pay attention to details at all levels. He is very punctual, flexible, reliable and possess excellent time keeping and lots of leadership skills.
